Mixing Latin passion with an old and faded grandeur, Buenos Aires is one of the world’s most iconic cities.
You can never get enough of Buenos Aires. The culture, the lifestyle, the Latin atmosphere...it’s all so unique. With every footstep you find someplace new, from a small tango club to a street filled with bookstores. There’s elegant old architecture along with gritty local neighbourhoods. Local street markets will help you practice Spanish. Then there’s all the nightlife, with craft beers, small cafes and amazing dancers.
This is a city made up of many neighbourhoods, each with its own distinct flair. San Telmo takes you into the Buenos Aires of old. Palermo is young and cool. La Boca is dominated by bright colours and street-side scenes. There are so many others as well. There’s a good metro system (the oldest in Latin America) connecting most of the city but it’s also cheap to get around by taxi.
Many people dream of visiting Buenos Aires. Few people get the opportunity to experience living in Buenos Aires. Even if you visit for a week there’s no chance of getting around it all. Come learn Spanish here and you’ll get to know the local side to Argentina’s capital. And Buenos Aires will become a part of you.

Learn moreDiscover the very best of the Argentine capital and learn Spanish quickly by studying at Linguaschools Buenos Aires. The school is next to Plaza de Mayo, right in the centre of the city. From here it’s an easy journey to the happening neighbourhoods of Palermo and Recoleta. You can take the metro from besides the school to other exciting parts of the city, like San Telmo and Puerto Madeiro. And you can take your Spanish skills with you. After studying in the day our school equips you to keep practicing during the evenings, when you’re discovering what the Argentinian capital is all about.
The school has large, comfortable classrooms and proves an inviting place to study, with a rooftop terrace providing views and chill-out space. Each of the teachers has at least a university degree and a Spanish teaching qualification, complemented by many years of experience. Audio and video facilities are used during lessons and there’s free tea and coffee for when you need to refuel. During classes you’ll be learning quickly, then during the afternoon you will be out around Buenos Aires, experiencing the Porteños way.

All courses at Linguaschools Buenos Aires are designed around your Spanish proficiency. You’ll be placed with students of similar ability and there’s a great mix of nationalities and ages, so you make friends with people who are very different from yourself. Courses run from Monday to Friday and you can start on any Monday of the year (except for holidays listed below). Most students take 20 group lessons per week but Linguaschools Buenos Aires has the flexibility to fit your time commitments.
Studying with others means chance to use your Spanish skills with people of similar ability, and to learn from each other. Group courses can be combined with individual lessons. Many students prefer a course made exclusively of individual lessons and this can be any number of hours per week. We also offer a special course combining Spanish language with tango.
Please bear in mind that the school is closed on bank holidays. Missed group lessons are generally not made up for. When there are 2 public holidays in 1 week, 1 day of missed group lessons will be made up for.
We offer a full variety of accommodation options in Buenos Aires, all of them designed to maximise your language and cultural immersion. Stay in fully-equipped shared apartments with other students and sometimes Argentine people. Or stay in your own room with a host family, where you have privacy, independence and lots of Spanish practice.
Live like a Porteño on an activity program organised by Linguaschools Buenos Aires.
Every neighbourhood (or barrio) is different and you’ll get to know them like a local during the school’s cultural program. Guided neighbourhood visits are just some of the free or cheap activities you can do, with tango being another. These are fun ways to explore while practicing your Spanish, complemented by weekend trips to Argentina’s other great destinations.
